I’m part of a funny short story collection called Total Quack Up! A hilarious anthology of short stories from funny authors like Paul Jennings, R.A Spratt, Jacqueline Harvey, Deb Abela, Matt Stanton and many more! You’ll get to read a poem from Lengy and Rajiv in Thai-riffic! hehe.

All proceeds go towards Dymocks Children’s Charities, which help kids read all across Australia and helps build awareness about children’s literacy rates through programs and events.

NEEV Festival in Bangalore

I’ll be seeing some excited cHEwY gums gums in India as I visit Bangalore for the NEEV Festival on September 28th and 29th.

It’s a school-based literary festival, with local and international authors spreading the love of books and writing with kids and teachers alike.

I’m doing a couple of workshops, moderating a panel about migration and stories, as well as doing a reading of Thai-riffic! It’s going to be a jam-packed weekend. Calling all aspiring writers! I’ll be part of this year’s KIDYA festival at the NSW Writers Centre. It’s a day dedicated to the ins and outs of writing for children and young adults, with panels about various genres and aspects about the industry. Just Kidding National Writing Competition 2018

Calling all cHEwY gum gums aged 7 to 12 (or any adults who know kids too). There is a fabtastic writing competition run by Just Kidding Magazine. I’ll be judging the ages 7-8 category, along with Jacqueline Harvey (9-10) and Tristan Bancks (11-12). You’ll win some awesome prizes such as seeing your story published as a physical book, packs of books, and a special message from the judges too.
